To the majority of people we interact with everyday, clothing is our only form of conscious communication. This is especially true on the streets of New York, where tens of thousands of impressions could be made over the course of one day.

To this end, we’ve constructed a collection of 20 outfits a piece to wear for the duration of “2020: Total Clarity” - 5 sets per season. A litany of considerations went into assembling the collection, including walking functionality, weather preparedness, aesthetic expression, communication potential, and ethical sourcing/creation. A chart describing our tiered value system for what we decide to source and wear can be found here.

“Dichototees”

In addition to the walking collection is the “Dichototees” series. Dichototees are seasonal releases of competing ideas told through similar word set and contrasting design. The wearer decides what’s important: sentiment, aesthetic, or a personal ratio. In every instance, a vote is cast that’s reflected on wear.

REGO FLIGHTREGO SIGHT
  • REGO SIGHT

Rego Park is a neighborhood in Queens that was built by the ReGo construction company in the 1920s. Rego stands for "Real Good". We love this mash up and would like to introduce it into our lexicon. In the Dichototee REGO SIGHT, the image is the map of Rego Park as it shows up on Google Maps, slightly altered to lay horizontally across the shirt in our design.
