Our final walk around the Bronx covers its southeast corners, most notably a trip to Throggs point and the surrounding community. We'll also tackle another chunk of Pelham Bay Park, the corresponding Pelham Bay neighborhood and central Bronx areas like Unionport and Parkchester as well.
Week one of our month in the Bronx brings us to perhaps the Bronx's most well-known attraction (outside the Yankees) - the Bronx Zoo! On either side we'll do tip to top walks from Southview Park in the south to massive Van Cortlandt park in the North. Neighborhoods visited include Fordham, Norwood, Soundview and Clason Point. 2.2 Miles were left off the route to account for zoo exploration.
